Raol looked up. You had to admire the new recruits. Well, some of them. Didn't lack Tenacity.
'I really should discipline him.' Raol thought. 'Meh, what the hell, it's the bar, i'm off duty.'
"Good day, Pilot. Enjoying your first few hours on the Lentha?"

"Sort of, Sir. I've got some concerns about one of my fellow recruits..." Janus responded to him.

"Hmm. It's good to voice concerns. What's up?"

"Well, I'm not sure if you were aware, Sir, but I'm a Lorrdian. I've been taught to be very good at recognizing body languages, particularly that of humans. One of the pilots has been getting me worried with his posture and the way he walks." Janus said to him quietly, looking for a way to keep an eye on Ellis without revealing himself. "He carries himself like an Imp and he does a damn good job of covering it up. The problem is that he could just be from an Imp planet, or an Imp family, or he could be a turncoat, I'm not sure. I'm really worried now because I just caught him leaving the hangar bay, practically skipping." Janus paused, waiting for a response.

"Hmm."
Raol thought about the best plan of action.
"I'll go over his file again, checking for inconsistancies.
I'll.....Get a team to check and recheck all of the fighters in there, and sweep for tampering. Discretely. I'll also bug his quarters. He can't find out about this, or we may have lost our chance to have a valuable double agent, although he won't know it. Meanwhile, please, keep your eye on him. You've done a good job....Janus.
I'll sort this out."
Raol got up, and left the bar. Soon after, he was in the engineers room, talking to the fighter mechanic.
".....and yeah, sweep it thouroughly. We don't want to lose anymore pilots."
Suddenly, an idea popped into his head. He leaned closer to the Mechanic
"Let's leave a surprise in his fighter, shall we." He leaned closer to his ear. "Lets...."

Jack stretched his arm out as he walked into the bar, he strode to the bar and gave the new guy... Chris, a bang between the shoulderblade, "hey mate," turning quickly to the barkeeper he said, "Corellian brandy please," turning back to to Chris he grinned, "so how'd you end up with us?"
Chris nearly sprayed his last mouthful of ale across the bar, "Ach," he said as he swallowed it, "little hard dont you think," he said with a slight grin,"I joined the Caridan academy straight from Coruscant, but after id graduated we were given an assignment to level a village of dissidents, i ran from the navy and ended up here, is the very abridged verison."

Corban grinned and clapped his hands on the shoulders of both Jack and Chris.
"If you don't mind, maybe later you could explain the complete-and-unabridged version. But until then, it's time to break you in. Both of you."
Corban turned to the barkeep, grinning.
"Three hits of the strongest whuh-chuh-mah-calls-it you've got."
The barman raised an eyebrow at him, but got the requested bottle and poured out three shot glasses. The barkeep poured one shot when Corban waved him off, asking him to leave the bottle, man.
Corban's grin widened and he held up an arm. "To my comrades in the X-Wing division! Chris the bunkmate and... You, whatever your name is." He tossed the contents of the glass down his throat and swallowed. His face twisted and he coughed, red in the face, tears welling up in his eyes. "Yeah... Good... Ack..."

Janus laughed at the pilot's reaction to the alcohol.
"How good is it?" he yelled from his seat to the pilot.

Raol walked back into the bar just to see the pilots doing shots.
'Eh, what the hell.'
He walked over. The Pilots were startled, and looked embarresed.
"Well come on, deal me a shot!"
The look of startlement quickly moved to surprise. Corban obliged, and poured Raol a drink.
"Stupid Human Glasses" he muttered, and downed the Alcohol. He coughed a little, and his gills flared.
"Good stuff. Just make sure you haven't got any of this when you're on duty."

The stuff really was powerful. It was already beginning to cloud Corban's judgement, so Corban poured himself another shot, raising it up high.
"Don't count on it, Fins, this stuff is quite the i... im... Helper." The speech impediment wasn't really caused by the alchohal. Corban never was good with big words. Regardless, Corban drained the shot glass and his face puckered up again.

Jack slid his stool down the bar to the congregational table, nearly overbalancing it in the process, "anyone up to face a corellian in a drinking competition, ill wipe the floor with the lot of you," waving to the barman he said, "couple of catch up drinks would ya."
Chris got up in a slightly less melodramatic manner and walked over to the ring of pilots, appropriating a nearby stool, and sitting a little back settled down to watch the prodceedings.

Janus smiled at the pilots, but still.... He turned to his B-Wing pilots and got their attention. "Sorry boys and girls, no alcohol tonight. I want your heads clear tomorrow, none of y'all crashing into anyone else. Are we clear?" he asked amidst a chorus of affirmations and groans.
"Awwww... Waaaah." he said humorously.

Corban eyed his leader pensively, but ultimately decided he was right. He dropped the glass onto the bar and began to head for his room.

Shieya took her eyes off of Nalla's ample bosom for a second to look up at her commanding officer, a Mon Calamari. What was his name again...bah, she'd remember it soon.
Turning back to Nalla, she asked, "So, when do you think our first battle is gonna be?" she asked, trying to be civil and proper in keeping her eyes not on Nalla's...assets. It wasn't working.

Jack leant back and considered those words, "yeah thats probably a good plan, same goes for those not flying boulders with cannons on," he grinned at the assembled X-Wing pilots, "we've got a mission tommorow in any case, and if any of you get killed due to a hangover its more damned paperwork for me," he tossed an salute to the assembled company and headed to his quarters.
Chris looked around, his roommate had left, he jogged out after him, he needed to get to know him a little better.
